چکیده
Background: Proprioceptive deficits in people with low back pain (LBP) have traditionally been attributed to altered paraspinal muscle spindle afference and its central processing. Studies conducted the upper limb demonstrated that sense of effort is also an important source kinaesthetic information. Objectives: To better understand proprioceptive chronic LBP (cLBP), this study aimed test whether affected cLBP. Design: Cross-sectional study. Method: Fourteen participants cLBP fourteen healthy performed a 120 s force matching task their trunk extensor muscles at intensity. Results: When visual feedback generated was provided, both groups accurately. Removal resulted increase error for (p < 0.0001), but significantly larger group = 0.023). This could be undershooting target 0.020). The control did not consistently undershoot or overshoot 0.93). Furthermore, amount increased as progressed 0.016), which observed 0.80). Conclusions: results revealed People overestimated extension they generated, trial progressed. With however, were able compensate perform accurately without

متن کاملA comparative study of trunk proprioception between patients with chronic non-specific low back pain and discopathic low back pain
Introduction: Low back pain is one of the most common disorders in modern society. Disturbed properioception can be a possible cause of low back pain and can cause recurrence of low back pain. Previous studies have shown that low back pain reduces proprioception due to instability in the low back. Since the degenerative process of disc herniation is one of the important factors in exacerbating ...
